Twitter Accounts to Follow for Up-to-Date Tsunami Information

The most powerful earthquake to hit Japan in recorded history has created a powerful tsunami and mass destruction. Hundreds are dead, many more are missing, and evacuations are taking place throughout the Pacific to prevent future tsunami damage.

At Twitter, we’ve just put @HawaiiRedCross live with pro-bono promoted crisis tweets — they’ve been doing a phenomenal job curating quality information (as well as some on-the-ground reports) about Tsunami stuff. Huge thanks to Wendy and Cindy for working with me so early this AM on it;)
