I have lots of things to say about this picture. And I’m sure I would be able to use this picture to come up with a halfway decent funny-but-smart social media or marketing blog post if I spent five minutes thinking about it. The importance of getting people’s attention by being crazy, bold, and lethal? Why shocking images improve your messaging?
Those are some preliminary ideas, at least.
However, the weight of looking at this colored baby chicken photo (which we saw live on vacation last week) for the umpteenth time is too great. (Don’t kid yourself about the dye, people. I have the testimony of a nine-year-old that the neon chickens die after two weeks, but their non-neon brothers did not.)
