Interested in setting annual goals? Every December, Michael Hyatt opens up his popular course, Best Year Ever. I highly recommend it. Watch three FREE videos from him about goal-setting here.
Goals, goals, goals.
At the beginning of the year, many of us set goals for ourselves. Big goals, small goals, medium-sized goals. And we always have the very best of intentions when we do so. To run ten miles a week. To read thirty books. To eat healthier. To increase our income. And then we watch, day by day, over the course of the year, as we slide away from our target, or even directly contradict what we said we’d set out to do.
You’ve probably wondered if there’s a better way. I have (regularly), and that’s why I love reading books and articles all about goal-setting. How to do it better, how to do it effectively, and how to really reach the goals I set.
This year, I added a new resource to my arsenal when my friend Michael Hyatt came out with his new goal-setting course: 5 Days to Your Best Year Ever.
I dove into the material this past weekend. I loved it. And, thankfully, it changed me. I can’t wait to continue to put into practice the lessons so that I can ensure that I’ll reach my goals over the next twelve months.
So what would you do if you could really reach your goals this year? What would it mean for your life? Would it change you and your family? Would it make you happier, more confident, and more excited about life? I’m betting so. The feeling of fulfillment you get from reaching a goal is unmatched. It makes us dance with awesomeness. So how do you get there?
I believe that Michael’s course is one such way.
5 Days to Your Best Year Ever is a way to get clear on your goals, discover what’s holding you back, and show you what you need to do to make progress today.
Specifically, this course will help you:
- understand the possibility of a major breakthrough (or two!);
- get closure on the last year and set yourself up for success in the next;
- learn how to set effective, achievable goals;
- connect emotionally to your goals so you can stay motivated when things get tough; and
- beat fear, procrastination, and that horrid feeling of being overwhelmed by it all.
It’s a comprehensive series of awesome videos (you can also download them to your iphone as I did and listen to them on the go if you don’t want to watch Michael’s pretty face), a workbook of powerful exercises, and a community of fellow goal-setters who will walk alongside you. (They’re quite active, as I’ve found in the past few days!)
If you’re trying to really reach your goals in 2014, this is a great way to get you there.
For the next couple days, Michael’s offering my readers a special price of $147 — a savings of almost 25% from the list price of $194.
But, because all good things come to an end, this course will be closing in just a few days. The end date is January 16th at 11:59 p.m. PST. If I’m doing my math right, that’s in two days.
After that, you will not be able to access it, you will cry into your pillow, and you need to find some good dark chocolate bon-bons to try and console you.
So that’s my pitch.
If you want to goal-set for real this year, try the course.
I might check that out. I have a terrible habit of setting goals each year and forgetting them by, oh, say the third week of January. Now where did I put those doughnuts?
