This week, I watched Lincoln. A good movie, if long. I drank Kombucha, which I love, but realized how important it is that it is cold. Ice cold. I read some more books, and particularly liked Four Kitchens: My Life Behind the Burner in New York, Hanoi, Tel Aviv and Paris. The picture? From months back in Ecuador, where I’m now not.
Here are some other good things I read, saw, and coveted:
- Are you more productive on planes? Chris Brogan tells you why.
- Was this a sexist New York Times obituary of a famous scientist, or a cute story of a good mom? The New York Times bowed to pressure to change it, but you decide.
- This video shows exactly how I imagine cats think, speak, and act. It inspired me to write about the cat who hated me.
- I wrote two different pieces this week on rest. One, talking about the three ways your body responds when you forget to rest, and another sharing a more macro view of what happens when you forget to rest.
